This article is about a 15 girl who has gone missing, some people could have different ideas on what could have happened but at that age people believe that teenagers run away and get lost, this isn't an unusual headline as many people go missing but a lot of teens do run away so this could set a stereotype that they run away

From this article headline it suggests like a lot of teenagers do cannabis and are a big part of crime in the UK, this creates a stereotype that all teenagers are the same, this paper would attract older people who might agree or teenagers that don't fit this stereotype.












































Related imageHere are two papers that are linked as they are to do with the same thing, but both these papers are giving off two stereotypes, one is that teenagers are over reactive as they are committing suicide when they have parents that love them, also as it is linked to the internet and Facebook people already think teenagers spend too much time on their phones so this could make people think it isn't healthy or safe for teens to be on their phones.

Media Language and Representation: Unseen Advertisement

Analyse how the poster advertisement (Source A) has created meaning through the use of Media Language in this source by comparing it to the Shelter advertising campaign. Amnesty use a hand to cut the barbed wire instead of scissors of wire cutters is because it shows peace, this also links with the fact that the hand is in the peace sign showing how they do peaceful protests. The barbed wire represents how people are taking away peoples human rights, for example, some people are forced into a life of slavery meaning their human rights are being taken away, so Amnesty are showing how they fight this with peace and cut the wire restricting people from their human rights. Shelter follows similar colours by using the red but also black.
