  • What examples of editorialised content would not fit 'impartial' television news (e.g. social or political opinion) from The Guardian and The Daily Mail print or online editions.
    Editorialised content means that its not advertising based in the act that they pursue direct sales intensions. This is the reason in which customers purchase or subscribe to these news outlets. News outlets of this type manipulate and distorts news values in order to broadcast impartial judgments of peoples beliefs and what they want to hear.

The Big Issue (Paddingtion Revision)

Location : a snowy street in london - with the big ben visibly in the background, its clock face illuminating the night. I believe they have used this to highlight the fact that london contains the most homeless people in England, and so in weather like this, the beauty of the city is lost by homeless people struggling for survival. On a lighter note, i believe they have used london because the theme is based on Paddington - an iconic British character. Due to this then, with them both coupled together it makes the magazine seem very nationalistic which may push people to buy it. Interestingly, on this predominantly British cover, it is captioned with 'migrant' which is almost then an oxymoron for the cover, but is used to show how the british should accept people being in our country and city. Stranger Things Narrative and Genre

1. What are the formal codes and conventions of Long-Form TV Drama?  -episodes -plot twists -few main characters -cliff hangers 2. How similar or different are the formal conventions used in Stranger Things?  Stranger Things follows the codes and conventions even in the first episode as we are introduced to the main characters and we are left at the end of the episode on a cliff hanger as the boys meet '11' in the forest. 3.
