  • How long have they been together?
The band got together in 1985 so they have been together for 32 years.
  • How would you categorise their music?
There music is categorised as: art rock, alternative rock, progressive rock and experimental rock.
  • How are they represented  in their promotional material (videos, photos etc.)
There are lots of photos of them when they where young but also older so this shows how they have been a successful band for a long time. As the band is so big they have a good fan following which some people call cults. When magazines write about them its all positive so there isn't any bad publicity about them showing how they are as a band. However, all their photos seem to be in black and white this could show how they are trying to stay original to stand out from other modern bands or maybe they are trying to show another message about their music and the style they are trying to give.

Stranger Things Narrative and Genre

1. What are the formal codes and conventions of Long-Form TV Drama?  -episodes -plot twists -few main characters -cliff hangers 2. How similar or different are the formal conventions used in Stranger Things?  Stranger Things follows the codes and conventions even in the first episode as we are introduced to the main characters and we are left at the end of the episode on a cliff hanger as the boys meet '11' in the forest. 3. As shown my logo is my initials CJ but joined together, at the end of the J there are leaves which represent how naturally grown my materials are, but when the logo it on clothing I took the leaves out as I think it looks better just being black lettering.
