Media Language and Representation: Ok Go (Music Video)

1. How are Ok Go representing themselves?

The three music videos we watched: End Love, Here it goes again and Obsession, are all very different to other music videos as they put lots of thought and work into their videos as seen from the music video Obsession, in this video they get around 100 printers and make two symmetrical sides so each side is a reflection and the paper comes out at the same time and make pictures and shapes. Their videos represents them as unique and original so they stand out from other bands/ singers.

2. What Media Language is present in all three music videos giving them a unique identity? Think about the similarities between each video


3. Why do you think they have adopted this representation?

I think they have adopted this representation because they want to seem different and stand out, this also attracts lots of people who might feel inspired by their work. When watching all the videos it feels like they are linked together in some way, for example all the videos have bright colours and original unseen ideas.

Stranger Things Narrative and Genre

1. What are the formal codes and conventions of Long-Form TV Drama?  -episodes -plot twists -few main characters -cliff hangers 2. How similar or different are the formal conventions used in Stranger Things?  Stranger Things follows the codes and conventions even in the first episode as we are introduced to the main characters and we are left at the end of the episode on a cliff hanger as the boys meet '11' in the forest. 3.
